Favorite memory: '61 State Track Champions; Mr. Burrow's
senior physics labs (totally out of control); Bob Motz's sophomore
biology class getting me interested in biologic sciences; the junior
chemistry lab when someone dropped sodium into a beaker of water
and blew a hole in the ceiling; playing gopher for Jerry Harvey;
shooting baskets in gym class; not being able to see the line markers
or the band director during a blinding snow storm at football halftime;
playing in the pep band during basketball games; Kathy Andrews;
riding the one ways downtown; Hunter's Tavern hamburgers; watching
a guy throw live .22 bullets against a window during detention;
not realizing how lucky I was to go to high school in the early
60's.
Words of wisdom: Mark Twain: "Life
is short, eat dessert first;" "All things in moderation,
including moderation;" Anonymous/AirForce: "Better lucky
than good;" John Boy (Charlotte radio redneck): "Love
doesn't know smart;" Eric Kandel: "Mental time travel=memory;"
Peter Marshal (US Senate Chaplain): "The measure of life is
not its duration, but its donation."

Favorite memory: Leaving School during the senior year at noon for student
teaching..the ride to McDonald's before..out numbered by the
girls..always enjoyed that ride!!
News: Back to work at Trinity Health Care Systems in Security.
Blame the economy. The ER can get a little hectic for a guy my age, but I need the money!
Words of wisdom: Stay involved as you grow older. Don't think your age is
a determining factor to keep you away from what you want to
do. There are a lot of employers eager to hire experience.
Personally I enjoy being back in the work environment again,
however if work is not on your agenda, volunteer! There are
some great agencies looking for help in numerous fields.

love, we will live forever.
