Booker Cole, Jr.
April 13, 1944 - November 10, 1988

Mr. Cole was born April 13, 1944,
in Corinth, Mississippi. He married Barbara Moore.
He married Geraldine Rutherford
Reed July 21, 1983, in Davenport.
He was employed the last eight
years at Xerox Corporation, Davenport, where he was senior customer service
engineer and team coordinator. He earlier was employed by Eagle Signal,
Davenport.
He had attended Black Hawk College
and graduated from Industrial Training Institute, Chicago.
He had been in the Marine Corps
Reserves.
He was a member of Marine Corps
League; past president of Parents Without Parents; and a member of Q. Link
Computer Club.
He was a member of First United
Methodist Church, Rock Island; past president of the church's Men's Club; was
involved with the youth program at church; and had served on various church
committees.
He enjoyed golf, and was a Dodger
fan.
Survivors include his widow; sons,
Sean T., a student at Western Illinois University, Macomb, Troy Duane,
Wentzville, Mo.; stepsons, Mark Reed, Muscatine, Matthew Reed, Davenport;
stepdaughters, Angele Hickman, Bettendorf, Jennifer Reed, Davenport; his father
and stepmother, Booker T. Sr. and Mary Cole, Rock Island; and sisters, Thanolia
"Nobie" Hudson and Valerie Kiel, both of Rock Island, Gwendelyn Humphries,
Champaign, Ill., and Carolyn Fallon, Belleville, Ill.
