Barbara Cramer

Barbara J. Cramer, 67, of rural Milan, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Rock Island Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.

A private family service was held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.   Interment was at Chippiannock Cemetery.

Barbara was born July 1, 1944, in Rock Island, a daughter of Edward and Ida Trommer Cramer.  She graduated from Rock Island High School, Class of 1962.

Prior to her retirement, she worked at Rock Island Transfer and Storage, later at Service Transportation, and lastly at HyVee in Milan.  She loved to read.

Surviving are three brothers, Robert Cramer and William Cramer, both of Milan, and Carl Cramer and his wife, Becky, Rock Island; one sister, Mary Ann Hofmann, and her husband Art, Rock Island; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edward, Richard and Donald Cramer; and her twin sister, Betty Cramer.
