Jack Schiller

January 15, 1945 - April 24, 2003

Services for Jeffery J. "Jack'' Schiller, 58, of Rock Island, were held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island. Burial was in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Schiller was found Thursday, April 24, 2003, near Wapello, Iowa.

Jack was born Jan. 16, 1945, in Davenport, the son of Walter and Mae Sears Schiller. He married Judy Shelter in 1963 in Rock Island.

Jack was a tool and die maker and worked for Case New Holland and the J.I. Case Co. for 31 years.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island and UAW Local 1306, East Moline. Jack enjoyed drag racing.

Survivors include daughters, Anne Schiller, Lisle, Ill., Jenny Schiller and Heidi Schiller, both of St. Petersburg, Fla; grandchildren, Stephen Fink, Fort Hood, Texas, Ashley Fink, Lisle, Caitlin Schiller, St. Petersburg; twin sister Jill Rowland and her husband, Jerry, Queens City, Mo.; and brothers, Jerry Schiller and his wife, Betty, Newton, Iowa, and Tony Schiller, Rock Island. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in infancy.
