Richard Schroeder

May 23, 1944 - May 11, 1993

Richard Schroeder died May 11, 1993 at home.  He was born May 23, 1944 in Moline,  the son of LeRoy and Georgia Miller Schroeder.  He married Sylvia Ostrander on June 27, 1964 in Moline.

Richard was employed at Alcoa, Davenport Works for 27 years as a thermo and equipment operator in the hot line department.

He was a member of Aluminum Brick and Glass International Union Local 106 and was the treasurer for years with the Iowa Illinois Treasure Hunters Club of Moline.

He enjoyed playing golf and was a former member of Country View Golf Club, Geneseo.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Kristine Schroeder, East Moline; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Janelle Schroeder, Orlando, Florida; a grandson, Joshua Schroeder, East Moline; and a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald G. and Sally Schroeder, Rock Island.
