Bonnie (Strader) Husted

September 10, 1944 - June 23, 2006

Bonnie S. Husted, 61, of Milan, died Friday, June 23, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Funeral services were held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan.  Burial was in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.

Bonnie was born Sept. 10, 1944, in Moline, daughter of Walter W. and Sylvia M. Welty Strader. She married Charles Husted Sept. 14, 1962, in Illinois.

Bonnie worked as a cashier for Geifman Grocery for 10 years.

 
Mrs. Husted was a lifetime member of the Milan American Legion Auxiliary, member of the Moose Lodge, WIBC League and the Conservation Club.

She was an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling, reading and handcrafts.

Survivors include her husband, Charles; son, Charles W. Husted Jr.,
Shanghai, China; brother, Walter W. Strader, Jamisville, N.Y.
